Ayurveda often refers to a small fruit called amla (scientific name Phyllanthus Emblica Linn). This fruit has been used for over 5,000 years in India to rejuvenate the body and strengthen the immune system.

Yellow and green in color, amla is widespread in Asia but little known in Italy.
